The Lloyd George Museum is one of only two museums in Britain dedicated to former Prime Ministers – the other being for Winston Churchill. We play an important role in preserving, understanding and commemorating the role of a great leader.

The museum acts as custodian of important historical records and artefacts that document the life and times of the inspirational war leader and social reformer. Our collections hold a wealth of knowledge, some of which awaits greater research.

The running of the museum and Highgate cottage is funded by Gwynedd County Council and further supported by the Friends of the Lloyd George Museum, a registered charity.

The Friends’ executive committee comprises:

Chairman – Emrys Williams

President – Philip George

Treasurer – Dafydd H Williams

Secretary – Richard J Roberts

Join the Friends and help support the work of the museum and enjoy other exclusive benefits.
